Free Meals for Children
Our cafeterias are well prepared to host the little children of our student guests. As a special extra bonus, we offer student parents a special children’s identity card. After presenting the child's identification card, the person registered on their child's id card can receive one free child-size portion for their children (up to and including the age of 6) during lunchtime, as long as at least one meal (as a student, employee or guest) is being paid for. The application for a children’s identity card can be made in the info-centers of the Studentenwerk Thüringen, or in Nordhausen in the Studentenwerk Thüringen’s Office for Educational Support. Upon submitting your application, please bring your student identification card and a copy thereof with you as well as a certificate which identifies that the child is in fact yours (for example: birth certificate, i.e.).
