mensaVital is a project of the Product evelopment of the student
unions. This meal course is our contribution to maintaining a healthy diet.
Meals- Healthy Food for Body and Soul
nutritionally balanced combination of ingredients
preserving and low fat preparation
- uses high
quality fats and oils
contribution to the “5 a day” rule (campaign for 5 portions of fruits and vegetables a day)
selected food (whole grain products, legumes, nuts, lean meat and crispy
- fish, meat,
vegan and vegetarian meals daily offered in proper balance
deep-fried and breaded dishes
excessively pre-processed dishes
- fresh and
- avoids any
aromas and flavour enhancers
- uses fresh
herbs instead of seasoning mixtures
recipes with saisonal food
regional and international culinary influences
portion accounts for the energy required for the midday meal of an adult (19-65
