Child Day Care on Campus of the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden

For children of students of the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden, the Studierendenwerk offers an attractive care service on campus. In the student dormitory building Blechhammer 9b, a mini day care center came into existence out of a student shared apartment, which has a room for sleeping, a bathroom and a kitchen. Through the trained educator and day nanny Susanne Schmalz and the day nanny Claudia Werner-Thiel, up to 5 children from the ages of 6 months to 2 years can be cared for there. The care center hours are quite flexible from 7 am to 6 pm and are made to meet the demands of the children’s parents. The rooms are established to hold 10 children.
