mensaRegional

The mensaRegional concept includes dishes with ingredients from Thuringia.

The products used in the dining halls and cafeterias are considered regional when:

  • at least one of the stages of production (production, processing, and manufacturing) takes place in Thuringia,
  • at least 50.1 percent of the ingredients in processed products are of regional origin,
  • the regional share of the raw materials is 100 percent for unprocessed products.
