Legal advice

We offer expert legal advice within the scope of our duties and responsibilities according to § 3 para. 1 of the Thuringian Studierendenwerk Act. This service is available to all students. Independent lawyers provide consultations/advice free of charge during the lecture period. Law firms with as broad a spectrum as possible have been selected for this purpose. This service does not cover the assumption of costs for a client or any other action (preparation of a written pleading, etc.).

Students who subsequently wish to consult a specialist lawyer should contact an appropriate law firm and apply for a free legal consultation under the Advisory Assistance Act (Beratungshilfegesetz). The law firms usually provide the required form.

Please use the counselling hours depending on your university. The counselling hours only take place during the lecture period. During the semester break, please contact the office directly.
