mensaInternational

mensaInternational is the Studierendenwerk's intercultural menu concept, permanently including a variety of cross-cultural dishes in the Studierendenwerk's menu. This concept aims at reducing the culinary homesickness of international students and providing diversity on the plate.

International students and/or students with migration background have provided the recipes. The cooking of the dishes was tested in the dining hall kitchens under the expert guidance of the students.

In general, the focus is on authentic preparation of the dishes. By means of tastings, this authenticity is continuously critically evaluated by international students and revised in the cafeteria kitchens.
