Information about the Deutschlandticket
Students in Thuringia have already paid a fixed sum for the rail ticket with their semester contribution for the summer semester, and in many university towns also for the public transport and VMT ticket. Therefore, they should actually only pay the difference up to the price of 49 euros for the Deutschlandticket in order to be able to use the Deutschlandticket for themselves. This so-called "upgrade solution" was agreed upon by the conference of transport ministers of the federal and state governments.
