Information on purchasing the Deutschlandticket at the Jena location

INFORMATION FOR THE summer SEMESTER 2024

The following points should be noted for the summer semester 2024:

Subscription via Jenaer Nahverkehr (only possible for students of FSU Jena and EAH Jena)

  • For the summer semester (from 01.04.2024), the Deutschlandticket upgrade must be re-applied for. The current subscriptions all end on 31.03.2024 without the need for cancellation.
  • The subscriptions at a monthly price of € 22.91 are applied for in the JNV subscription portal, which can be done immediately. For the start on 01.04. the application is possible until 20.03.2024.
    The application can be made via this link.
  • To apply, proof of a semester ticket for the summer semester 2024 must be provided (upload the validated thoska or a temporary student ID; certificate of study is not sufficient).
  • The ticket will be made available in the MeinJena app at the start of validity.

SUBSCRIPTION VIA DEUTSCHE BAHN (POSSIBLE FOR STUDENTS OF ALL THURINGIAN UNIVERSITIES)

  • You must apply for a new Deutschlandticket upgrade for the summer semester.
  • The current subscriptions via Deutsche Bahn all end on 31.03.2024 without the need to cancel.
  • The application must be submitted by 19.03.2024 inclusive.
  • Please note that the previous prices will still be displayed and debited for the months of April and May. Any overpayments will be automatically refunded in May.
