Jury Membership

Together with students, the Studierendenwerk Thüringen decides on financial support for cultural, sporting and intercultural initiatives at jury meetings.

The next jury meeting will take place on 15th June from 10:00 a.m. in Jena and will last approximately three hours, depending on the number of applications.
Students at state universities in Thuringia can apply on this page till 25th May. 

The jury decides which projects will receive funding based on the conditions of participation. Students receive an expense allowance of €50.00 for their voluntary participation. A total of up to ten students can participate – ideally one person per university. They cannot apply for cultural funding themselves.

Students pay a portion of their semester fees to the Studierendenwerk Thüringen. This money is used to fund cultural projects for students, among other things. It is always important to the Studierendenwerk Thüringen that funding is provided by students for students. This makes it all the more important to the Studierendenwerk Thüringen that the jury is supported by students.

German language skills are required for the jury meeting.
