Information centres
You are provided with comprehensive information and many services related to your studies at our information centres:
- International Student Identity Card (ISIC) – only in Nordhausen: ISIC is available at the department for financing studies
- Information on exemption/reimbursement of the semester fee
- Information on exemption/reimbursement of the semester ticket fee
- Information on and receipt of notifications for leisure time accident insurance for students at all information centres; on limited liability insurance for students at the Ernst Abbe UAS Jena and the Nordhausen UAS; on statutory accident insurance at the information centres in Ilmenau, Jena and Weimar
- Applications for BAföG: distribution and receipt of applications for forwarding to the department of student financing (no counselling)
- Child ID for free lunch for children of students
- Advice on flexible childcare as well as registration, receipt of childcare contracts and booking of childcare times in Jena, Erfurt and Weimar
- Literature provided by the Studierendenwerk and universities as well as information on the opening hours of facilities of the Studierendenwerk, universities, and cities
- Publication of private accomodation offers on the Internet
- Publication of job offers for students on the Internet
- Information on applying for a subsidy for internship-related vaccinations in Jena and Weimar
- Tickets for events organized by the Studierendenwerk and the universities
- Issuing the baby welcome gift for children of FSU and UAS "Ernst Abbe" students (in Jena)
- Information on and receipt of applications for the semester subsidy of the respective city
