This accessibility statement applies to the Studierendenwerk Thüringen websites published under the following domains:

As a public institution, we strive to make our web presences and mobile applications accessible without barriers. The requirements of accessibility result from the Thuringia Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Bodies (ThürBarrWebG) and the Thuringia Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (ThürBITVO).
Status of compatibility with the requirements
The verification of compliance with the requirements is based on an assessment according to WCAG 2.1 / EN 301 549 commissioned by the Central Monitoring Office for Digital Accessibility of the Thuringian Ministry of Finance and carried out by Materna SE Team Barrierefreiheit in calendar week 49/50 2022.
Based on the review, the web pages are partially compatible with the aforementioned requirements. Based on the review report, accessibility has been further improved. However, we would like to point out the following incompatibilities or exceptions:
The image video on the homepage contains visual information in several places for which no media alternative is stored. However, the information is also available in other places on the website, so that users do not lose any information.
Due to the abundance of documents, the Studierendenwerk Thüringen cannot currently provide all PDF files barrier-free, but is continuously working on improving their accessibility. If you have any problems using the PDFs, please contact us.
